Our Aluminum Chlorohydrate and Aluminum Zirconium Chlorohydrex Glycine actives are available as impalpable powders, superfines, microspherical beads, controlled particle size powders, or solutions at various concentrations. If you have specific formulation requirements, our experts will customize a product to meet your unique specifications.

 

  Aluminum Chlorohydrates (ACH)
  Aluminum Chlorohydrates are classified as Category I by the FDA (generally recognized as safe and effective when used up to 25% on an anhydrous basis). These actives can be used in aerosol and non-aerosol applications and are defined chemically by aluminum/chloride ratios. Formulations using standard Aluminum Chlorohydrate actives typically provide 25-35% sweat inhibition while enhanced efficacy ACH actives provide a 35-45% reduction in perspiration.

Aluminum Zirconium Chlorohydrex Glycine Complexes

 

Aluminum Zirconium Chlorohydrex Glycine (AZG) actives are also classified as category by the FDA (generally recognized as safe and effective when used up to 20% on an anhydrous basis) They are defined chemically by aluminum/zirconium and total metals/chloride ratios. AZG actives are not permitted for use in aerosols or sprays. Formulations using standard AZG actives typically provide 45-55% sweat inhibition while enhanced efficacy AZG actives provide a 55-80% reduction in perspiration.
